What time can we check in?
Arrival time for Touring Caravans and Camping is from 2pm.
Arrival time for the Holiday Homes and Shepherd’s Hut is from 4pm.

What time is check out?
On the day of departure we ask that all guests vacate your pitch or holiday home by 11am.

Do you have a clubhouse?
We do not have a clubhouse, however we do have a converted horsebox bar, Giddy Yup, serving bottled drinks and snack food with an outdoor seating area.

Is there Public Transport nearby?
There is a bus stop approx. 100m away from the park entrance, with services to Durham, Hartlepool, Sunderland and the Coast, the closest train station will be in Durham.

Do you have any Seasonal Touring Pitches available?
Sorry we do not, the seasonal pitches we do have are all occupied and we have no plans to make any more available at present, you are welcome to email us your contact details if seasonal pitch availability changes .

Are Commercial Vehicles Allowed?
No we do not allow commercial vehicles on park – Large vans, Sign-written vans, Tipper/Flatbed vans, work vehicles, etc
We do allow vehicles such as pick-ups, Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, or people carriers and small vans, VW T5, Ford Transit or similar models that are now often used as larger family vehicles – again these are not sign-written, etc. – Please check with us if you are not sure prior to your arrival.

Can we have visitors during our stay?
Yes, visitors are welcome until 8pm and then must leave site, all visitors are required to check-in at reception.

We are staying in one of the Holiday Homes do we need to bring our own towels?
Yes, we do provide all the bed linen but you will need to bring your own towels.

Are we allowed to have a charcoal BBQ?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own BBQ or small fire pit, they must be raised off the ground to not scorch the grass and attended to at all times, coals and ash must be disposed of correctly and responsibly.

Do you have a Play Area?
Yes we have a small enclosed children’s play area (suitable for upto 10 year olds).
